typo should of read I has the bootlid perforation fault resprayed under warranty and resprays to both rear quarter panels because of donkeys opening doors in to my car. cracking the paint and denting the shell

Fair enough.

Other point is I sell it to them and the cylinder head mysteriously blows up on it and I get blamed.

Sometimes its not a good idea to mix business with your personal/family life and I'm sure we've all seen evidence of that

Car park Dents

I find the Z3 quite susceptible to car park dings on the door panels from careless wallies opening the door into other peoples cars. I guess all Zed owners must suffer from this as there is no protector sills on the cars. Any advice on how to go about popping the dents out?? I have 3-4 dents varying...

£75 to fix a broken coil spring? could this be the £12.75 part mentioned earlier in the topic?
£20 to tighten the handbrake cable
£40 for the MOT

got done near xmas paid the £60 and took the 6 points.

ive heard people saying you should take it straight to your lawyer and have them deal with it as often there is a loophole to get through.

is this still possible after paying the fine?

I get an annoying rattle from the rear of the car when going over rough tarmac and its worse over speed bumps in my W reg Z3 2.0 with 44k on the clock. not sure but i noticed that aswell. worth pointing out the exterior of the car is identical to the 2.0 model i got there last year. bodywork and interior on my car was in excellent condition for a car of its age.

No offence mate but I've just seen a 2001 2.2 Z3 sell at harry fairbairns BMW for just over £11k. Not a sport but like yours has all the options, black metallic with carnival red leather. I bought my 2000 W 2.0 Z3 with all the same options you mentioned for £10k in a private sale this time last year...

car went in to fairbairns this morning for warranty work to the bootlid. quote for fixing the nearside damage was £230 plus vat. So for the sake of £50 more, I'll let the experts deal with it. Didnt feel sure bout chipsaway anyways

its a 2000 on a W. chances are the 51-plate 3 series for £7500 is way up on the miles, so thats even more irrelavent than what 3 year old residual values indicate and im not trying to say anything i didnt post the topic to start smart one-upmanship remarks. you have a point about sports cars holding...

I've did a search on this and cant wuite understand what the best mod is for this. Im wanting a quick/cheap fix. Do I buy silvatek bulbs and take out the oranges lenses??
