The lock was removed in 2006 with the facelift. To get the roof to fold properly, fold the folds "the other way" so to speak. Most likely it has folded itself the wrong way, so you have to train it to fold the proper way again, only need to do it twice whilst closing the roof, then it rem...

My question is: I've noticed that when my soft top is in the fully down position, it looks apparent that it might not be locked into place. I'm not entirely sure even if it has to be? But, what I can say is, that my last two Z4's looked as if they did by something in the centre just above the redund...

I paid £3,500 more than that for an '08 M with less than 2000 miles on the clock. But, who's to say £18k isn't too much for his car. :shrug

Nice spec and colour combo too.

We've detailed LOTS of Z4 MR's and MC's and they have all been very well looked after. They tend to be an enthusiasts choice. Save 8.5k, maybe a wheel refurb if needed and enjoy. Well, Im not going to pay £15k + for a car I wan to drive, unless I get it for say £12k or I just hold out for another Z4M again.
