My wonderful 3.0i has found a buyer. Managed to agree a cash deal which will be concluded on Thursday. Taking it for a test drive this evening confirmed what a great car it is (sun out, top down). Will be quite sad to see it go, but I'm sure that will disappear once I get into my 964 (will post some...

Fellow MTBer here. Went to full sus back in '99, and still running the same bike (Specialized FSR XC Pro). Try the Specialized FSR XC range if you're into general cross country stuff. Can't go wrong with them. Copes with all sorts, including more extreme stuff like Coed Y brenin, etc.

I originally wanted a 911 (964) but couldn't afford it, and was lucky to find this beauty instead. I'm now in a position to go for a 964, so although I've loved the Z, it's making way for the car I've long been after.
Fingers crossed someone soon takes a fancy to this great Z.

You'll find answers to all your questions by using the search facility. Don't own an M, so I won't comment on the remap, or filter. The leak is a common one. Try adjusting the hooks that fix the roof to the header rail. Undo the small grub screw with an allen key, and turn the hook clockwise to tigh...

Try pulling away the the leather surround (it simply clicks in place) and pull it forward over the handbrake. this should then expose a tywrap which you can cut. The hanbrake may (can't remember for sure) have a locking screw which is removed to release it.

I paid about £25 for the Renovo cleaner and proofer at a car last weekend. Previously used the Autoglym which works very well. What extra do you get for the BMW @£50? The Renovo @£66 must also include the the dye which you can use if your roof is looking very sad to bring back the colour.

If it's a standard gear knob, it just pulls off, not twists. You need to pull it very HARD, and as Gazza says, keep everything out the way!
I replaced mine on the Z and E46, but had to ruin the E46 one so stubborn was it.
