Z4 (E85) Wind Deflector

Just found this languishing at the back of the spare wardrobe with original fitting instructions and storage bag. Used on my old Z4 for a couple of years but in v. good condition, this original BMW accessory is the black fabric and mesh type which fits over the two head rests. Collection only from E...

It's the approved used car warranty from Coopers of York who I must say are, in my opinion are very helpful and probably one of the best dealerships in this area

New Roof!

Having hibernated my car during the recent bad weather, I was looking forward to a spin once the snow disapeared. I set off and soon found that the rear window had misted up due to the low temperature. I switched on the demister and realised that only four of the elements were working. I raised this...

[quote="stu"]Hi Jaz I'll keep a look out for you in Howden! Silver Z3, which doesn't get out enough also in Howden. Congrats on the purchase, I think you've picked a great motor and hope you got a good deal. I'm guessing the car's been 'used to it's full potential' if it's had yellow stuff...

New Z4M

Well folks after waving goodbye to my 4 year old 10,000 mile Z4 2.0 SE and also waving goodbye to £15K in depreciation, I've decided to invest in something I hope will become a future classic. A four year old imola red Z4M sourced from my local Dealer in York. I was like a kid at Christmas on Saturd...

New Year's Day Out

Decided to drive over to Filey for the best fish and chips on the east coast at Inghams and a great walk along the Brigg to blow the cobwebs away. Car was in a right state on our return and have just managed to clean it in what is possibly the coldest spell I have known. (note ice on road!) http://i...

Andy, I went through the same process just under two years ago and after much sole searching decided to swap a low mileage Y plate 1.9 Z3 for a new 2.0 Z4. There are huge differences between the cars and I don't ever regret my choice. Why don't you ask for an extended test drive like I did, I manage...

My Old Pride & Joy Y169OLK

Just having a tidy up of documents and came across the VRM of my much loved Z3.

I wondered if anyone out there now owns it?

"Claying"

It would appear that this is a realatively new method involved in detailing. I wondered what the product is plus what you gain by using it?

Off down to Puglia in southern Italy for the last two weeks in June. Did consider making it a road trip but having driven regularly in Italy would not wish to subject the Z to such an experience!

Z3 Tanneau Cover - Free To Good Home(now gone to good home)

The late spring clean of my garage has revealed my old Z3 tanneau cover which I failed to include when I p/x'd my old car for a new Z4. I considered the normal e-bay route but would be willing to provide it F/O/C to an enthusiast from the forum. So, if you're after a decent tanneau cover (Y reg 8000...

It would appear that this is a regular problem, my old Z3 suffered this at the top nearside and was repaired (glued?) under warrenty via the supplying stealer. In the end I just accepted that everytime I put the roof down it would happen and became quite adept at resealing the joint using a credit c...

Hi Stu, you will soon recognise my Z as the VRM starts with JAZ

We use the Barnes Wallis regularly but tend to walk up there (and stagger back)

Will keep an eye out for you

The St. Vincent Arms, Sutton on Derwent.

Outstanding country pub with real ales and great food

The 15 mile strech of the B1228 from Howden to this place will put a smile on your face!

I agree regarding issues with AOL. I initially registered (via AOL) when I owned a Z3 and did not receive a reply for months - until after I'd changed to my current Z4. The info from the forum read as follows: "We have been having some problems with the authorisation emails, so I have manually ...

What we all have to remember here is that this is 'driving' observed by 'Zedders'. Whilst I would never dare to suggest that we are more likely to experience other drivers worst habits, I swap between vehicles on a regular basis and for some strange reason, I always see the worst possible reactions ...
