That's what my wife uses on her chrome Brabantia bin and that's the only cloth that works. When I cleaned the bin with a normal cloth I got the marks you talked about. They're great, we got ours from a local hardware shop.

Brilliant, that's good news as I've just won a wind deflector on eBay for £74, much better than the £180 my local $teeler wanted and about half the price Motormec wanted. Now I just need to get a tonneau cover... Just to let you know, the "mesh type" that normally goes over the roll hoops...

Over £600 on suspension repairs...!

Hi all, The handling was so poor on my 97 1.9 Z3 (60k miles) that I bought some poly bushes from Proven Products of Tavistock and had them fitted by a local garage. Anyway, the bill was over £600 :shock: but at least the handling is far better now. These are some pictures of the parts they replaced....

Did they have many Z3 parts? I've been calling round all the breakers in my area, but there seems to be a drought of Z3 parts at the moment. FAB (Gloucester) said they had a few in 6 months ago all with water damage, but nothing at the moment...

It works!

Sniff very kindly sent me a bottle of the Sonex stuff and I applied it last night (after drying out the puddle on the seats!)

It poured down again last night and this morning, so I checked the Zed when I left for work and he was as dry as a bone!

I've read a lot about strutt braces on here and wondered if they really do make a big difference? I find my 1.9 Z3 tends to fidget on rough, country roads which is annoying, would a strutt brace cure that?
