I use the 'garythefish' approach. Good boot from the inside, slight spin of the wheel, another boot, repeat until it falls off. You may want someone to catch it as it comes off, or at least control it as it does.

That Jag was phenominal. Conor's car is very clean, and is mechanically sound.
Certainly in the years I've known him it's been extremely well looked after and has never missed a beat as far as I'm aware.
He's not been in a rush to sell it, even though he has the M as well, which should say something about it as well....

Or a nice E38 750i - surely the bargain of the decade at the minute, I've been looking at some low mileage mint ones for around £5k with amazing specs.

There already are several Z groups that quite a few people here are members of.
They're pretty quiet activity-wise and to be honest, it just adds another layer of unnecessary sites to check for anything IMO

A VERY small amount of early Blu-Ray discs from certain companies were region coded. Out of the 150-odd I have, only 1 is.

I had a 740i with a 'sealed for life' auto gearbox and found that changing the oil and filters after a few years made a world of difference to the shifting - it was much smoother, not that it was bad to start with, but, there was a definite change in it. It can be done, but, I'd say it's not worth the cost or effort. You'd end up with a car that is worth less than a factory spec car. The best route would be to sell your current car and buy an auto IMO.

The boot is a reasonable size, I can get my daughters bike in it (and her large buggy when she was smaller), so, a medium sized dog shouldn't be an issue.

Unless the offset is different on the Z3M (which I'm pretty certain it's not), all E36 M, E46 M and Z4 M wheels have the same offsets.
Looking at www.realoem.com, I'm certain the Z3M has the same offset.

As long as the correct servicing is done at the correct intervals, where it is done should not be an issue.
Some people are funny about main dealer vs independent, but, the service done by a BMW dealer should be identical to that of another BMW dealer.

Well, seeing as I have 2 REAL M cars - E28 M5 and E24 M635CSi and a E61 550i Touring as well as the Z4, budget didn't come into it.

S2000 is without doubt a much better handling car than a Z3.
However, (and the M's are guilty of this to an extent too) all the power is at the top end, and is mostly at the cost of torque.
