Phone the owner - Bernard - on 02890 244213 tell him Conor with the red and green Z3s referred you.

Best regards

Conor
I'm thinking of getting it serviced in the new year and I'll definitely mention you Conor! most likely an Inspection I.

Euro Auto Service, Belfast

Does anyone know, roughly, how much an annual service for a Z4 2.2i auto would cost at Euro Auto Service in Ventry Lane, Belfast?

I'm wondering how many folks simply leave their car with garages and don't ask for an estimate? What's the form here?

Hello Conor,

Many thanks indeed for that.

If there's a "going-rate" it seems to be about £20+vat.

I imagine you'd leave the car there and get a train, taxi or bus home unless you had a lift?

Cheers Tim

Just as a matter of interest, the recommended Castrol Edge costs about £65 for six litres!

Thanks. By the way, that's a lovely car you have: my favourite colour. I had a Rover 75 which was Arden green, a similar shade. That's the colour I'd most likely choose, given the choice. Mind if I ask what mileage you have on it? About Bernard's: know if he sticks rigorously to the BMW Inspection I...

Many thanks for that. I called with Bernard in Ventry Street a few months ago but I'm fussy about the recommended engine oil & BMW recommend Castrol Edge or something like that. I looked around his garage when I was there & didn't see any Castrol products. I wonder how his cost compares with...

Hi Jus & thanks for that. Daft. I know, but where is the rubber grommet? I'll have a look tomorrow; the car's in the garage. Cheers Tim.

I'm beginning to wonder if the rattle is an occasional vibrationcoming from the plastic air vent on the dashboard. Anyone any thoughts or advice about this please?

Rattle On Passenger Side

I've an irritating little rattle somewhere around the dashboard/air vent area in front of the passenger seat. It could even be behind the dash somewhere. I don't think it's the door trim; I took the air vent off, checked it and reassembled it with its two screws. One thing I noticed is that this rat...

Heh heh, na sorry mate, they're £40 from BMW
At least forty; I think I was quoted £46.32+vat or some silly price like that! They'd supply & fit for over £80!

How about £13 :?: :D
