sounds very similar to my problem. I was told that it would be easier to change the raditor than try and get the expander tank off.

It seems my expander tank as crack in, which is why it as been leaking water.

As the key and the fob were both stolen we assumed a remote key would be ok.

Last time we had the brick with the corner missing.

BMW gave us the fob incorporated onto the key, with three buttons, 'BMW badge', 'Arrow' and 'half sun'.

Gee, this is so frustrating. Managed to get alarm 'disarmed', but now can't get new fob/alarm to recognise each other. I've tried all the tricks on this site.
