The old chestnut ------ tyre choice
I'm about to bin 4 Dunlop SP9000's. Someone at Ocean in Plymouth recommended them and BMW know best .....not. Anyhow other than the F1's which seem to have varying reports on here, does anyone have any experience with a '99 M running Pirelli P0 Rosso's or Michelin Pilots. Hope some of you can help. ...

One month further on, the cars had a second KDS with no geometry errors found. Gasping breath!!!! How come two dealers with the same equip get to different responses from the same kit!!! Rear shocks now changed under warranty so atleast they did something! Looks like trying to change the tyres again...

Laptops and the lack of generic drivers with WHL compatiability has always been a prob for XP and even 2K to update. The best course of action I've seen with SP2 is to ensure that all the SP's have been loaded prior to running SP2. Its easy if you have DSL of some description, though the majority of...

Just as a point of reference. SP2 works just fine. I've rolled out 20 + PC's with it loaded and its not an issue. Seems to be a problem with machines that have obscure software packages on them. The biggest consideration is integrating them with firewalls and AV software, it definately doesnt like t...

I'd concure with some of the comments about Ocean in the South West on this board. They stink, big time!!! Its down on the KDS check in the ///M folder. So far I've paid for them to check out, several times, what I suspect is the vanos unit failing, however, the usual reply is ' we've run a diagnost...

Well to use the expression from 'Pretty Woman' but this corners like its on rails. Well, if any one plays with a certain silver //M road in Plymouth, I'll currently let you go, even if its a TT!!! Drives like a complete dog at the mo. Even managed to light up the rear tyres without trying the other ...

Thanks for the reply, I went down the SP9000 route. Couldnt bring myself to the F1's at the time. Too many horror stories about driving in the wet on them. I changed the rears then had to change the fronts as the whole feel was wrong on the car. I thought my probs were down to the tires not scrubbin...

KDS Checks
How reliable are these KDS checks. Just had one done on my ///M Roadster. It shows the rear toe -3mm and front -2 per wheel. The best of it all is that the local main dealer want £25 parts and £585 for labour as the BM warranty doesn't cover the repair, as according to them its enhancement. I'd love...
