Re: Prices on the up

I paid a little under £4,500 around 5 years ago for my 2003 3.0i Roadster Sport Individual finished in Estoril Blue with navy roof. The car has covered 80k but once it's back on the road I'd like to think it would be worth twice what I paid (if left stock), or perhaps a bit more (once it's been kitt...

Re: 2003 3.0i Sport Edition Roadster Individual

Almost 5 year have passed and I'm pleased to say that I'm back, although unsure how much activity exists thanks to various social media channels/groups. The Z3 has been laid up in my garage for around 3 years and even before that it probably only covered a few miles to reach the petrol station and/o...

Re: Original Build Data

I used to use the official BMW Warranty site to obtain the VIN of any BMW using just the registration plate. It was a great way to scope out Z3's when I was looking to buy. Unfortunately they've put an end to that but the same website is still useful at confirming whether your car is a genuine Sport...

Thanks to Soft Tops of Croydon who fitted a nice smart roof earlier today. Looks great. Mine is original still but could benefit from a replacement in time as some of the stitching has u picked. Presumably you can't replace the rear screen on an unoriginal roof? If not then keep up the maintenance....

You may want to check the V5 to confirm whether it's definitely a Sport model. The front bumper insert would suggest otherwise.

Either way, it's no doubt a cracking motor and still priced well given current market value and upcoming season.

Good luck with the sale!

I've never had to touch the handbrake to remove the centre console, just loosen everything then pull out the side panels at the front of the centre console and push it as far forward and down as you can manage, then lift over the handbrake.
