Somewhat unexpected - sudden speed

After a 'long' trip to Bicester, the engine light came on again. Last time around, this also happened after a long journey. Fault code last time said fuel was burning lean. Car is running ok so im not too worried. Other posts (eg on bimmerfest) say that it could be a faulty/dirty o2 sensor, maf sens...

Results back. Diagnostics say the engine was running lean but sensors working ok. Mechanic has reset light - says it could be due to a bad batch of fuel as the problem isnt showing up now. Ill drive it around for another week or so and see if it comes back on. So thats that.

Just dropped it off to the garage. Dude there tells me that very common with Z3s and Z4s, the warning light means a problem with the ignition coils. Lets see what the diagnostics come back with.

Engine/Emission Light

The yellow engine light recently came on (on my z4 roadster). Dont know how many other people have had this... After doing some research, it sounds like the problem is most likely from cheap fuel (I had filled up at a dodgy-looking station just before it flicked on). My options now are 1) Empty the ...
