Hey Emec,
Yeah, I saw the posts on M3Cutters, glad it's still available from BM, just a shame the Coupe's gonna have to wait another week to come out of hibernation.
If anyone has an as-new one I can get quicker, I'll take it.

I've just noticed that the pictures of my steering wheel aren't showing... but rest assured it's a lovely high quality leather, double layered with a nice, yellow cross stitch!

I think you might be confusing the thermostat and the fan switch matey. I've changed the fan switch that sits in the rad. The standard one comes on at 95*C and turns off at 90*C. I've replaced it with the new one that comes on at 88*C and turns off at 80*C. The thermostat Is what opens and closes to...

I did the viscous delete a few days ago, I've been happy with the results. You can feel the difference with less parasitic drag on the engine, plus a lower temp fan switch means the AC fan kicks in sooner.

Hi Emek,
Thanks for the reply I've had a look through your journal, nice car. Is it an M drive shaft (I don't know if they are model specific), if so what condition is it in and how much are you looking for it. Also if they are side specific then which side is it?

Del - Cheers for the thoughts. I'd agree that it's most likely a drivetrain issue... There are no whines once in motion, I've been listening out for them. There's no vibrations and there's no issues engaging gears. Doughnut sounds like the next one to check... but that doesn't fit with the location ...
