At the bottom there is a small drainage hole in the rubber. This often gets blocked, if you put your hand in below the cap you should be able to feel it.

It does have the oem aero kit fitted, schnitzer hoops and eisenmann back box, genuine gruppe m induction kit. It was alright I guess lol

It's 320mm in diameter but maintains the airbag. They are not cheap but dramatically improve the driving experience.

I can't actually believe it went for £1750 in the first place paint job looks a shocker, seat taped up and a roof that wouldn't be waterproof even if you parked it in the garage.

The only way to remove the part you're talking about is to remove the dash. It's attached by melted plastic lugs only accessible when you've removed it.

Type in gummi pflege in to the search at the top and you'll find a series of problems similar to yours this stuff softens the hardened rubber making it more supple and better able to withstand the water by giving it a better seal.
