Thanks for the replies guys. As far as I can tell the car isnt and has never been lowered, she sits about the same height as any other Z3 ive seen. I drive the car sensibly and from what I could see when she was up on the ramp she dosnt look as if she has had any knocks. As for the wear on the tyres...

As for the car, its not lowered, im pretty sure it shouldnt be wearing tyres out so quickly! Im a pretty conservative driver..for the most part, certainly no wheel spin etc.
