Just be aware also with classic policies alot don't recognise NCB. I lost all my full NCB by transfering to a classic policy and then back to a modern policy a year later. Even with proof of the previous full NCB I could not get it reinstated onto a new policy. Insurance companies don't you just lov...

No problem with the nuts for me as I have already had the beam off to check the existing bushes. Has anyone any knowledge of the polybushes squeaking when fitted to the rear beam. I seem to remember someone on here who changed back because of this.

Poly or inserts

What are your thoughts on rear beam bushes, polybush or the inserts from the guy in the states. Zed is a 97 2.8, I've replaced front wishbones and polybushed them and replaced drop links so want to sort rear end out now.

Hi, if you have all the plastic lugs take them to a good body shop and they will be able to plastic weld them for you. I had the same happen to me and it cost £20 to have five lugs welded and if anything they are stronger now than before. Hope this helps to save the cost of new or second hand headli...

Hi, I assume you mean the wishbone.It's best to replace the whole unit. I've just replaced both mine at a cost of £24.00 each, these were from my local motor factor and are Quinton Hazell.

Fascia cleaner is a good allround solvent cleaner and can be sourced from a plastics supplier or a friendly window/fascia fitter. This is ideal as it is in liquid form so can be brushed on or used on a cloth. I pay £4 per litre and it lasts for ages,
