To be honest copies might be better than the originals, BMWs centre caps are very poor quality, I've always ended up replacing them after a short while, just replaced one on the Z4 after 12 months from new. Water tends to get behind the laminate film and corrode the the silver rim. It was the same ...

ebay - horrible tat !!! - I have type 35 but bought mine from dealer - they weren't £80 though :shock: I wouldn't have paid that - I can get you part number from mine if they're going to be same size but not until tonight, not fitted mine yet - wheels going for refurb in 2 weeks time.

Yes I bought a set a couple of years ago, we did a 1500 mile trip around Europe for 3 weeks. You will find there is still space around to squeeze in a few pairs of shoes ect. They are very good I will be at Silverstone and will have one of the bags just the triangle shaped one that goes at the back...

What about using tiny black screws ...the type used to mount computer circuit boards/components. They are very neat in appearance and should blend better ?

There's nowt as queer as folk John but good result getting the sale. To be honest the overriding impression I got from your advert (after you tweaked it :wink: ) was how genuine it sounded and looked.

The one place my tyre shop said to watch was the rusting around the bolt holes as that could potentially mean the hole is enlarged and therefore not a good fit.
