Re: BMW Z3 2.8, Sapphire with Hardtop

Thanks for the messages again.

I listed the car on ebay last night, I'm sure some of you will have seen it. It would appear that she's now sold, but of course it's never sold til the money is in the bank!

Will update once things are confirmed.

Thanks for comments guys and messages. There's me taking time to do a nice advert and I forget the mileage, anyway it's just over 89050miles, so well below average.

BMW Z3 2.8, Sapphire with Hardtop

Offered for sale is my wifes beautiful BMW '99 Z3 Roadster. After initially owning a 1.9litre Z3 we upgrade to the 2.8litre version about 18months ago. We've loved every moment of ownership, but due to my wife changing jobs and having to travel further to work, cross country she's now change to a 4x...

Re: Rear screen replacement

Well after spending only 1.5hrs with Gary Hubbard today I'm pleased to say our rear window has now been replaced, not bad considering I broke it less than 48hrs ago! Gary's done no end of Z3 windows and also carry's out approved repair work for Porsche etc, so you have no concerns about his quality....

I have a question and despite doing a couple of searches can't find the answer (I may not have searched for long enough, so am prepared to get wrists slapped) Anyway. My wife has recently changed from a facelift 1.9 to a pre-facelift 2.8 and I've noticed that annoyingly the pre-facelift car doesn't ...

Any idea how these would sit on a pre-facelift widebody, are the spacers needed?

Pretty straight forward if you're removing. You need a small Allen key or socket to undo the plastic covers. Once removed you'll see the 2/3 bolts that need undoing, a 13mm spanner is need as you'll struggle to get a socket in the space. Finally you'll need to unclip the wiring on the passenger side...
