Re: P0414 Error code
Hi thanks for the replies, I can only assume the error code has nothing to do with the problem I had. I delete the 0414 code and it always instantly comes back even without starting the car. Will totally ignore that code in future. Went out for a long drive this morning and couldn’t get the fault / ...

P0414 Error code
Hi all not been here for a while. I got rid of my 2.0 and bought a 2.2i :) Anyway today, several times today whilst cruising at a steady 70, the power just drops and then comes back. Very intermittent, did it at various speeds after that. Plugged it in and got P0414 which is to do with the secondary...

I used heavy duty clear duct tape from Toolstation (47305; £5.05) and it worked and stuck a treat. Free delivery on £10 spend.

Yes (not a great picture) but I don't think it was a standard part being ABS plastic. Interesting, never knew there was an aerodynamics package and looks only to be able to fit to a 4 pot according to that page.
If anyones interested in having them let me know.

Thanks, the Upol #5 says you can use it on bare metal but I'm a bit unsure as to what metal it means.
Or would you use etch primer then another primer on top?

Hi all, Well this turned out a lot easier than I thought!
