If the limiter excist, the reason is BMW tries to limit heavy wheel spin, more than trying to save mechanical parts. Safety reasons, I think. S50 power limited on first gear?
Ive been thinking my S50 dont pull as fine at first gear, than it does at second or higher gears. It feels like 20-30% is off from the torque. :D I finally got the painted parts at monday, today at thursday its complete and had it at inspection also. All was fine so Im now cruising with it in +30C! Almost unbelievable... I bought white vaseline, thick grease which I put with my finger to those metallic rails. I sprayd silicone to front rail, and teflon spray to all over the mechanisms I couldnt put the white vaseline to. And vóila, all problems went away... Almost unbelievable, it was so stuck...
