Re: cruise control retrofit M43
Hi Boosh, Yes it is possible to retro fit cruise to a 1.9 M43. I did this last year. Not difficult, took longer to source all the bits. Basically all the wiring is there just need to connect the Activation switch, install the brain box behind the glove box and install the actuator onto the from wing...

Re: Front bushes
Did the same thing with mine the other day, went down the Z3M solid bush route. Amazing difference and definetly no harsher then before. Used a ball joint splitter to remove the bushes and then sprayed the stub and bush with Rubber Care / Gummi Pflege and they just slipped on very easily. A very sim...

Wanted: Rear Hand Brake shoe expanders
Hi, anybody have a NEW pair of Rear hand brake shoe expanders Art No 34411163709 or 34416868624?
Mine are so badly worn they will not stop rattling even after a real good squeeze in the vice. They are on back order with Germany and I am off to France soon.
Thanks
Chris

Re: Rear wheel bearings on Z£ M44
Hi, Just had one of mine go on 1.9 2002. Got the local garage to do it for me, took him 2 1/2 hrs and cost me £236inc VAT which included an OEM bearing from BMW (£50.00) as no after market bearings available locally. Looked at doing it myself but when could not shift the drive shaft nut even with br...

Not sure if this is of any use, not used them myself but prices look good and appear to be genuine Bosch.

Re: Testing the water for a sussex meet?
HI David
I live in Horsham so a South Downs meet would be good. There was one a couple of years ago but that seemed to fizzle out. Octobers good for me as car goes away in the garage from 1st November.
Regards

Re: Rear Springs for a 1.9 2002....Help!
Hi Guy's, Thanks with all the help and suggestions. The price was quoted against the part number 33539070477 so that was for a pair and pads. As some have pointed out ECP and other can only supply standard but not the M sport. Cannot find them listed anywhere. May just have to bit the bullet and put...
