Are you sure your suspension components ie Bushes aren't to blame for the soft ride.
I'd spend the £84 towards getting them sorted before any modifications.

1986 205Gti bought it in '89 and traded in for a brand new Suzuki Swift Gti in '91 which was my first new car. Both cars were great but the 205 was iconic and although had suspect build quality it was a fantastic car to drive and I loved it. It's one of those cars you look back at and wish you coul...

Overpriced Z4 in Hockliffe, Beds.
There is a Dealer in Hockliffe called 'The Garage'. He's selling a few BMW's. An E46 330 Coupe in silver which looked nice from afar but up close it was different. Evidence of panel repray around the side strip at the back (offside). Every wheel bolt is rusted, calipers are all rusted. Rims are scuf...

It is good to see a mix of people. I stereotypically labelled Z3 owners as my sort of age (36) onwards and women of all ages. Buying a Z in the future will be my first foray into German motoring. I've been a member of many forums over the years and still am active on three of them. I'd like to meet ...

They didn't up until a few months back. Now I believe they do. Is it a genuine carbon one Gaz? I know on the Integra DC2 club the 'Mugen' carbon airbox is about £600 and is probably the best aftermarket air filter system that exists for that car. That said the OEM airbox is pretty good too so many people just stick with that. What can be expected from your filt...

It'd be the earlier 3.0i Z4 if I went down that route so same engine. I know critics say the Z4 is was the Z3 should have been and the looks are marmite (love/hate). I'll certainly have to try both although pricing will be a significant factor with £1-1.5k separating the two (in terms of what I'm lo...

I always say that people might slate cars when they first come out but if you told them at the time they said it that you'd be able to pick up a bargain with aftermarket products available to help tweak things a bit for a fraction of the cost they'd turn round and admit that it would be a bargain! I...

I sometimes miss my old MR2 turbo. Every time you pressed the accelerator pedal it was like stepping on a land mine, tremendous fun. Would I swap it for my Z3 3.0.......no chance! Cars that retain value/increase in value
I thought it'd be nice to mention some great cars that retain their value or even increase in value. Being a Jap car fan at heart I can vote for the UK Spec Toyota Supra Twin Turbo 6 speed manual and Auto versions. They seem to be increasing in value becoming sought after modern classics. The excell...

I love the 944 Turbo's. In Black with Cup wheels they look amazing. 8-) Bang for buck can be viewed in a few ways. In terms of a fact car for example I can suggest looking no further than the excellent Toyota MR2 Rev 3 Turbo. Mine was immaculate. I paid £3k for it. gutted the OEM cat pipe, ran a sim...

I run my 2.8 as a DD all year round out of necessity. No hardtop for me as I like to drop the roof whenever I get the chance. Do the Z3M's really do that much damage to pop the welds and unhinge the diff? Surely you'd have to be a hooligan for that to happen rather than it be the cause of a manufacturing weakness. I agree that Dark Blue/Black really suit most cars. White is coming back in fashion in recent years. Cat D's being the lightest of recorded damages should be valued around 25% less. Depending on the type of car it can vary being less or more. Most people (private sellers and dealers) should have fully documented records of the damage caused and how it was repaired and the parts involved. Labour cos...
