The rear subframe bushes move a lot and cause a floatiness, even if not changing gear in the corner it's like it pitches in to the corner after you've turned. The fitment of some purple power flex on mine made a great difference.
And fresh suspension of course

Mishimoto do all aluminum rads but not a direct fit for the Z3. It's thicker so you need to lose the viscous fan (either run with the aircon fan only or fit a slim electric to replace the viscous). The standard rad is fine and only fail after 10-15yrs plus, mines 19yrs old and still fine but I think...

How do you adjust these bushes niece fittted. I think I read somehwere it's a bit tricky and also affects the toe as you adjust the camber so need an aligner who is patient be knows their stuff.

Mayo is common on short journeys with these.

Never heard of 7twenty - looks like rebranded parts, possible BC Racing. That's what I run along with Brian H and we both use 6kg fronts and 8kg rears which is what these 7twenty package offer. I would want to know a little more about them before buying. Have been very happy with my BC racing set up...

The front ones do. The rear one harder to tell, I've got one but not done much driving since fitting. I can tell you that if your rear beam and other rear bushes are the problem the braces do nothing, mine was all over the place when they were worn and that was with a brace and all the front bushes ...

I already have one of the 'new' models with the brackets to work without the OEM cupholder.

Can you use the 'new' style one that's hinged with the OEM double cup holder?

The camshaft sensor failing has similar symptoms when mine went. Very common on these, just need your codes read, will save you a lot of diagnosis.

Rear beam bushes will more than likely be worn out by now. My car passed MOT and specific requests to a regular mechanic to check them. They said the had slight play but nothing major. You could try a new accelerator cable, cheap from the dealer and common for them to get stiff. In my manual car it made holding a steady speed a chore when the cable became stiff. Thats a rare and beautiful interior and in great condition. Add in the the style 78 wheels, the hard top, low mileage (but no too low that's it's been sat around for years) and the the recent maintenance work I think it's a good price. The hard top and full fitting kit fetches close to 1k on its own...

I use 18's (Beyern Multis) and 17's BMW Style 78. On smooth roads there is nothing in it and I prefer the 18's sharper response (lower harder sidewall), real shame I don't love in Germany..! Back in the real world (UK) the 17's better and although less sharp due to more sidewall outright it's nice. ...
