Very nice Brian. Just a quick question, is that the normal position for the coolant-expansion tank on all 6cyl?

Re: Dallan's Build Thread...latest addition...pics as promis
Intersting thread and nice look, I am surprised how much that amount of lowering transformed the look of the car! Looks like an arrow.
I am also very impressed by your detailing, great result!

Re: Odd Battery placemen on a Z3 1.9?
Hmm, could bee. I did take photos of the engine compartment but managed to miss that spot :dunce: If you stand in front of the engine it is up to the far left (on a LHD). This is an early 97/01 but they could have moved it, I tested another one earlier and that had the battery in the engine comp, bu...

Odd Battery placemen on a Z3 1.9?
Hi!
I was at a dealers looking at a 1.9 Z3 from 1997. It had the battery compartment in the engine bay, but the battery was elsewhere, probebly in the trunk. Has anyone seen this? Does anyone know why? It was a Germany imported car and LHD

Re: WTB Z3 2.8 or 2.2 (currently inactive)
After a new testrun in a 2.2 I decided that I want a bigger engine, therefore (hopefully correctly spelled  ) I am going to look for a 3.0 or a M. They are however outside my current budget but I am aiming for next year. After reeding all posts about the boot welding spots (and also noticing t...

WTB Z3 2.8 or 2.2 (currently inactive)
Hi
I am looking to buy a Z3 with a 6cylinder engine, preferably a 2.8 or a 2.2. Every colour except green is on my list. Roll-bars preferable. Wind-deflector also. M-steering wheel a plus

How too check out a car dealer/'trade salesmen'?
