Gearbox Problem
Went for a drive yesterday, finding it difficult to select 3rd gear, once the car warmed up it seemed to be fine. Any ideas what could be causing this problem, I've read about pins that get worn and need replacing. It's a 1998 2.8 with 65000 miles.

I'm sure those will work, which did you get the metal or plastic rings. Once the wheel is bolted up it tends to squash the rings slightly giving a nice tight fit on the hub, that's what I found when using spigot rings a while back.

With directional tyres you should swop them over every so often, left to right this will increase the mileage you able to get out the rear tyres. Just means having to have them unmounted and remounted.

I fitted H&R ARBs to my car, and as Si had said it does make a difference in perceived body roll whilst in the car. The ARBs come with new bushes as part of the package so this helps tighten up the car also. When changing over on to the new bars I also took the opportunity to replace the rear d...

I have both front and rear fitted to my M. They definitely make a difference in reducing body roll for flatter cornering and more stable transitions. There are downsides though. You get a slightly harsher ride as a bump on one wheel is transferred across to the other side. not much, but noticeable....

Personally I think they are over complicating this whole detailing issue, it's become a huge money making business.
