Hi fowks some of you may have noticed my lack of posts over the last couple months, this is because I've been told I'm losing my job. Hey fowks. Just wondering if anyone has came across a guide on how to remove the spare wheel and all the casing etc it sits in? Would this let water run down the rear of the boot wall southernboy? Yeah I run it on shell v-power which is slowly but surely showing results but the biggest difference was with a bottle of stp petrol cleaner I'm only 1/8 of a tank off having it sit on full when the tank is. If I got same result from another bottle I'd be there.

I recently change the button surround on my boot lid which involves having to under the locking mechanism -30 mins end to end.... you simple pull the trim off you can see and just start unscrewing the screws you can see to get it in and out - obviously this didnt change the mechanism but it had it ...

Yeah I have a 97 pre facelift, although narrowbody I presume boot lids are the same. I plan on using the same light if possible and my only other issue you will be removing and re installing my keyhole for the lock over to the m lid. I'm reading through a couple threads just now but not very many on...

My new roof has been supplied (car hood warehouse) and fitted (car den)

I am thoroughly impressed with the quality, fitment and appearance. I will post some pics over the weekend once I've had a chance to give the z a wash! :)

Ahh well as I said the electrics is not a strong point of mine.

The diagram I had showed me the connection to the old clock being the three pin. Threw me right off when I seen the 6 :(

Haha I missed the last post and without thinking what I was doing had a lovely spark... Which didn't frighten me at all btw.


So from that at least I gather that there is power running through the unit, possibly dud lighter itself?

I dont think its the two wires as when i removed it they were securely on, then when I refitted I made sure of the connections (which btw were in good condition) were tightly fitted.
