Red Z3 1.9 1997 for sale in Norwich :-(

I am selling my beloved red BMW Z3 as she's simply not getting the use she was. The car currently has 106,000 miles and has never missed a beat. I have maintained this car fastidiously myself as I'm an enthusiast. The car will come with the rare and VERY expensive Z3 repair operations manual. Mechan...

Re: Rear wheel bearings on Z£ M44

Thanks to all who replied. I think despite my years of working on various old bangers, I'll let the trained take the strain this time!!!

Best Regards to all

Re: Standard or Super unleaded?

I use V power or tesco 99RON in both my M44 and my FJR bike. Better performance definitely and on the bike, over 10% better fuel economy. It also seems to run much smoother in both cases. Proven benefits for no overall extra cost. I never bother with 97 RON stuff as the benefits are not so pronounce...

Rear wheel bearings on Z£ M44

Hi there, Has anyone replaced the rear wheel bearings on one of theses ordinary 140hp four bangers? Mine has developed a deep drone at the back which has suddenly come on. Roadspeed dependent not engine speed so I have discounted a shift in the exhaust system. I think the ROS one may have gone but c...

Re: Dare I say...Spitfire/MGB Roadster

Having rebuilt a number of old Triumphs over the years, vitesses, GT6, Spitties, I reckon the Spit is a good choice. Chassis-wise, reasonably straightforward as long as the main rails are OK, simple and cheap to repair, go for a later 1500 with the swing spring on the rear, don't believe all the cra...

Hi there everyone, does anyone have any ideas how to remove the clouding on the actual headlight lenses, not the plastic covers, Mine looks all milky when you turn the headlamps on, but seems clear when the lights are off... odd I've seen the threads on how to remove the lens cover in the oven, but ...

More rear window malarkey

Chaps and chappettes,
The rear window on my 1998 1.9 needs to be replaced, I understand the choice to be zipped or sewn in, mine is currently zipped, anybody got any advice either way or could recommend a good fitter somewhere near East Anglia?
Cheers MMF :nerd:

Looking for sneaky and unobtrusive ways to boost the little blighter!!
