BMW Style 18 (17" staggered 7.5/8.5)
I have for sale a set of four BMW Style 18 wheels removed from my Z3 7 years ago and stored in my garage since, keeping them in case I ever reverted back but as I sold the Z3 4 years ago I think it's time I let them go! All wheels are straight and held air fine they will, however, require a refurb a...

Since selling my car back in the summer I have quite a unique and rare opportunity to buy the xenon projector units I retrofitted on to an original pair of facelift Z3 headlights (chrome shrouds) with clear indicators. Z3 facelift rear lights (pair)
I have these as spares from my Z3 which I sold this summer, so they're no longer needed. They're standard Z3 facelift rear lights (99-2002) which have had Lamin-X red protective film placed over the amber indicator to give it a cleaner 'euro' feeling. I have a few pictures of it on the car which I'l...

Amazing, looks perfect! Would love to have this done to mine, to clean up a few areas which always stick out for me - although I think the cost of the respray would outweigh the initial purchase price, however.
Top work - look forward to one day seeing it in person!

When you unclasp the roof, how much do you have to push it back with your hand before the electric motor will take over? Also think I'll be keeping the microphone lowish, as I think with the roof down, as already mentioned by Gookah, it keeps the wind noise down to a minimum.

Re: Rhythmic ticking, sluggish below 3k and idle issues
The rythmic ticking will be the injectors opening / shutting... that's normal... Erratic idling sounds more lik an air leak in one of the hoses pre-intake manifold, or the engine pressure valve, which is fitted just below the MAF area.... This balances the internal engine pressure, and it's ...

Just recently my car’s been making a slight rhythmic ticking, which alters with revs, and led me to think it could be tappets. It had a full service last year, but I suppose there's no harm in changing the oil. It looks dirtier than I thought it would, actually, so it is plausible that it's causing the ticking on cold starts when the oil isn't lubricating properly!
