Re: Wind Deflector

Not sure I understand? The roll hoops were standard equipment starting on the 1998 models, so your car should have them. If for some reason it doesn't, your only options are to buy after market roll hoops, and get a wind deflector that mounts onto it, or get this wind deflector from Windblox that wo...

Re: Perspex windscreen

Windblox has a winner windscreen. Otherwise, there's a pretty good directory of Z3 windscreens over at windscreen review - take a look over there.

There's a windscreen for those Z3s, pre roll-bars, over at windblox. I think there's an old dealer OEM windscreen too, if you can find it.

Hey there, check Ebay, since there's always good deals over there. You can find used ones about 50% of the regular, dealer price. Also, there's a good directory of Z3 windscreen vendors at windscreen review. Be sure to check out the windblox windscreen.

Re: Standard bmw Wind deflector worth anything?

There's a version made over in the states:

http://www.windblox.com/styles/bmw_z3_w ... ker_nh.htm

that's about one-third the cost of the original version, and does pretty much the same job.

Re: wind deflector

Wow, purchased two wind deflectors and both didn't work for you? That seems like a $400 lesson. I hope you were able to sell them on ebay. If your Z3 has the factory roll hoops, there's lots of options listed over at windscreen review . Else, the folks over at Windblox have windscreens for different...

Re: Wind Deflector Design Idea...

That's a nice looking design. I can see how it would be attractive, especially with contrasting colors on the body, or the piping. For the less adventurous, there's a review of Z3 windscreens over here , of vendor listings, ratings, and price. There's a list for the roll-hoop, and non-roll hoop Z3 v...
