The market is crazy at the moment - Z prices are really odd, I see some cars still at £1,500 and others at £8-9,000 for non M Cars. Difficult to judge!!

Re: 692DPG's Z3 2.8 Journal
Hi everyone! Been very quiet for a while as I’ve been working in the Middle East since September 2018. The trusty Z is in great health still though I have to shamefully admit that it only did 68 miles in the last 18 months with me being ‘locked’ in the Middle East. Not much to report other than I’ve...

Hi all - Quick update as I've been off radar working in the Middle East on and off since late 2016. The Z is still doing well and now done 4500 miles in the 4 and a half year's I've had it. No major news and the only 'mods' I've done in the intervening period has been to fit Nick Alaith clear protec...

Hi all - just thought I'd do my yearly report in and let you know the Z is in rude health and still being enjoyed. You seem to be building a collection - how long have you had the yellow US spec car? Since November. It's in not the best condition, but technically drives well and engine works. Lots of small things are missing or need some hand. Sounds like a great project - I don't think I've ever seen an early ...

Re: Potentially moving to US with work - what price for Z3?
It is worth more than 5000 to anyone who knows z3 (m seats, m mirrors, wheels, m console, condition, 2.8), the bad thing is that everyone who knows z3, usually already has one ;) So best way to get more money - sell additional parts separately and car with stock parts - separately. I think its under priced, i paid 5.5 for a 2.2 Sport with 62000mls unless you want a quick sale. Age may be against it but it looks fab from what i can see. Mine's 2002. Probably paid too much but it was the colour i wanted & was local with low milage. Bob Cheers Bob - I was a bit stumped to be...

Hi - with a heavy heart I've got to ask the question as I won't be able to take it with me. Re: Wing Mirror Corrosion?
Bob - yes is the short answer. The mirror bases are prone to corrosion which bubbles up quite badly and in the worst case weakens the base so if you try to fold the mirror it can snap. If it's relatively minor it's an easy fix but will mean removing the mirrors, stripping the bases, etch priming and...
