Funny you should say that as I had the hood down today :) More than happy to give you a look a it anytime. I live just outside Moneymore so it shouldn't be too hard to get together! Still got jobs to do to it though so you'll have to excuse that. I'm away next week but the week after we could meet i...

Re: Z3 cobra kit
One slight oddity since getting it back on the road is that the temperature is minus 40 outside according to the car!?! Outside temp sensor got disconnected or is faulty. Got disconnected alright. I'd cut it off by accident when tidying up the old lighting wires! All reattached and working properly...

Just posting some pics of my z3 body conversion as some have expressed an interest in it previously. Obviously not to everyone's tastes but if you're genuinely interested and have questions please ask away. Still jobs to do as I havent even got the inner boot panel fitted yet or inner wheel arches. ...

Hi Sound quality is excellent Obviously a lot of functions on it but it seems fairly straight forward to use. My brother drove the car home for me (500 miles) and programmed the sat nav without the manual so can't be too bad really. Don't know anything about the Ipod connection as im an android guy!...

squeaking hood?
Does anyone else have a constant squeak from the hood/ back window at town speeds? When I say squeak, its not a squeak as such. More of a creak. Its the noise of plastic moving ever so slightly backwards and forwards in some way! Comes from the rear bar of the frame or the back window perhaps. Any p...

I tried a few years back using an aerosol for a repair and it turned out pretty good. Next I tried respraying a Lotus 7 type kit car which was really just the nose and the wings. That turned out nice too. So next I bought a cheap spray gun and sprayed an Mx5 and an old Beetle. Thing is if you make a...

Hi to all,
Just joined up as I'm currently seeking my first Z3 and on the look out for a lowish mileage 6 cylinder.
Willing to travel anywhere in the UK for the right car. Budget up to 3k but would be willing to do some bodywork if I have to!

HI Gizzie,
Just joined the forum after seeing this thread. Would car still be available for sale as I'd be very keen. Dont think I can PM currently due to just joining so if you could get back to me it would be hugely appreciated.
Have cash here so if all checked out I'd take it.
