Re: Bonnet wont release

Hi,mine was the other way, was i pig to open you really seemed to have to pull hard on the lever, and then it wouldn't catch sometimes when closing, So I gave both the catches on the slam panel loads of WD40 to dissolve all the old muck and grease, then gave it a bit of a scrubbing with an old tooth...

Re: headlight cover/Air duct

But over the christmas holidays I had the front bumper off, (2.0l by the way) to do a couple of odd jobs and thought i'd do mike fishwick's air intake mod. Only to find that the 2.0l was the...

Any tips on changing over the control module ? Just got one off ebay, same part number. One of the codes was F0 which according to the booklet that came with the reader was an error...

Re: mot fail

Had the same problem with my headlights, adjusting knob was seized and came off. Freed it off with some WD40 and worked it back and forth then degreased it and used epoxy resin to glue the knob back onto the shaft. Had to hold onto it for five minutes while the epoxy started to set so the knob wasn'...

Re: Wanted Z3 roadster sill for passenger side

Hi, the sills are normally metal, hard to find second hand in good condition. There are some fibreglass ones but there not standard as they have gills at the rear, available usually on ebay for about £170 a pair and then youve got to paint them. Surprised nobody makes fibreglass standard replacements...

Hi warhammer23, not all the Z's had an amp I think it depended on what extras you ordered when the car was new. Mine has simple wiring head unit to speakers :) makes things simple. I only discovered this because when i got the car the front speakers wernt working but the tweeters in the doors and th...
