Re: Electric roof failure

In total agreement with Blade runner , his suggestions is how I traced my faulty roof to a failed micro switch,
I just disconnected the two wires from micro switch taped them together tested roof and hey presto worked fine . Used the fix on the link to replace switch :)

Re: Narrow body rear bumber on wide body fenders?

Hi
I have both versions sitting in my drive at the moment and looking at them the answer is no , the wide body one is wider to fit the rear wings

Re: Anyone use a wind blocker ?

I have both original mesh and a plastic one , both are good but the missus prefers the plastic one and it does show off the hoops better :) :)

Re: So it's still not handling how I'd want...

HI, my 1998 1.9 had tramming issues on some of our rural roads and she was fitted with semi directional Michelin tyres on the front, changed these to Pristivos
225/45/17 and it was like driving a different car, no more fighting which way we were going :)

Re: Opinions please!

Hi,
We have a local tv repairer who charges £5 up front to diagnose any faults and gives an estimate of the cost of repair, if you then give go ahead for repairs ,£5 comes off the bill, this way no surprises or misunderstanding
