They are not reflectors, they are projectors. I have no issue with putting hid's in a projector unit, ie. where they are meant to be. Issue comes when fitting to reflector style original units.
that is a bargain!!

Re: Wet Carpet
Mine dried out fully when removed. No mildew etc. Have you tested car with roof up and carpets out to confirm you solved issues with leaks etc? ie, vapour barriers, the bolts securing the roof to body, seals externally, drain points etc?

I've seen kjb1's car and it's a nice, tidy car. When I saw it there was a bit of paint required but as that's been sorted now it should be a good looker. Many thanks for the vouch. Yes with the paint it will be looking great I am sure. Picking it up tomorrow hopefully, good machine polish of rest o...

Hi all. Selling my 2.8 Z3, with brand new hood, Z3M two tone leather heated seats, 17" wheels, atlanta blue, lots of history, ( as in a LOT ), electric roof, grab a bargain, £2600, recently purchased from a member here, selling for what I paid for it and works done so far to recoup money. Many ...

Ok, so a terrible few weeks. Ended up writing my brand new Mercedes off in bad fog. So now have to sell the Z3 to put funds towards another family car. Sad to say but this car is now back up for sale, if anyone wants it, it will be £2600 now, to cover all my costs so far on this car, still very chea...

I am afraid the answer is no! Gave both couplings a really good dousing in the GT85 and worked the steering back and forth for a few minutes - no change at all. My issue must be something inside the steering wheel assembly itself. my noise is not quite a squeak, its more like a graunch and only hap...

Wing mirror removal. Can i do it without removing door card
Question. Can mirrors be removed from the body without having to take door cards off? if so, anyone got a walk through?
reason being Ive just sorted door cards out / repaired, glued, new tabs etc. Dont want to disturb them if possible.

This is very timely advice. My steering wheel squeak started up in Scotland last September. The car had been parked outside all week and it had been a cold night. Very impressive work and well worth it! As you would have found out, that carpet underlay is seriously thick 1.5" - 2" in places and with a constant window leak will become totally saturated. However the carpet itself seems dry on top, but check out what's lurking further down...........a...

so the issue is that you need the rubber at position 1 to be the same as position 2?
if so can you get anything behind the rubber to help push it back out? ie. Fill it out?
