Auxiliary fan
Hi, my auxiliary fan for the air con is not working, I have powered up the fan and it works on high and low, will need to check both relays in the morning. I believe there is a fuse 48 under the dash, anyone else know where I can find it ?

Asc switch
Does anybody know what switch should be fitted to my 97 1.9 and what colour wires it should have going to the connector block.
the reason for asking is my car has a switch fitted but not connected so am not sure if i have the correct one or not.
cheers

good news, the new clocks sorted out the temperature gauge all seems to be working ok still getting the same fault code so will get a genuine bmw temperature sensor another job ticked off the list.

Re: new owner
it is an aftermarket one but if i dont have the sensor connected the gauge still reads hot which i wouldnt expect as its not connected. i am getting some replacement gauges on monday to try so will see waht happens then and perhaps order a bmw sensor.
