cheers, i did look at that first and the latch seems to move with a bit of spring to it.
i'll give it another look and try greasing the cable some more

Bonnet keeps popping
Hi there,
The bonnet on my z3 roadster (97 2.8)- keeps popping and then is very difficult to shut again. I try screwing in or out the spring pegs which eventually get the bonnet shut but it's now continually popping when driving.
Any suggestions out there?
