I would have to agree, my current choices are 3.0 Z4, or Boxster 3.2S or 911 (996) Cabrio. But everytime I walk up to the Z3 I must admit that the curves do look good. Though I do have a friend who has said that they would buy the Z3 off me the moment they have enough cash.... we'll see what the fut...

I have just received a quote from Admiral which was £50 less than First Alternative. I haven't given First Alternative a chance to compete against the quote (trying to see if I can get another one cheaper). The quote from Admiral was £605 and First Alt was £658 (10yrs NCD - 32yr old male - london) -...

Steve, Thanks for the website. I have to send my baby in for a MOT soon and last year was taken for a bit of a ride by the dealers. I have only recently found a new group in and around Wimbledon being AMC who work on Mercs and BMW's but I haven't heard anything about them yet. I'll definitely be giv...

Hi Shirl, Is it true that even a change in temp will set the alarm off. I ask because everytime that I have driven the car with the top down, stopped, put the top back up. The alarm starts going off intermittently. I did notice that if I simply switched the electrics on and then set the alarm again....

Here is probably a topic that hasn't been up here...well I haven't noticed one since I have joined. While tootling along today I noticed that I had 2 "chips" on the windscreen. To me they appear to be cracks which could easily be filled by any of the glass companies. But I have looked thor...

Just as a heads up guys, make sure that the information is correct. I had to get them to re-issue the policy because they use the wrong model (1.9l instead of 2.8l), mileage was wrong and so was date of last service. Having said that once it was pointed out it was corrected and resent in no time at ...

Hi, I've had my Zed for 4 months now. Bought it second hand (not from a BMW dealer) and about a month into me owning it there was only 1 green light on (there were 2 when I bought it). I don't tend to drive it too often being in London but take it out on a "long" run (200miles) about once ...

Hi, I have recently noticed a sound coming from the left rear wheel area when I go over bumps. But it is only there when I have a full - 3/4 tank of petrol. As the tank empties the bumping noise disappears. It also sounds a bit when I go around a roundabout. Any ideas...is this serious or can I live...

Hi, Well I am still enjoying the 'ol Zed, but not as much as I want to. A friend of mine that has a 5 series, had his gearbox go on him. Total expected repair cost ... £1,500  . Hi, I am considering buying a cover for the little Zed. The main reason is that I park the car outside and am paranoid about water leaking into the cabin. The way I look at it I have 2 options. 1) A full car cover 2) A cover mainly for the hood/windscreen. I read in one of the manuals of a friend of...
