It's all down to personal preference really .... Looking back now I believe that I was mentally conning myself that I really enjoyed driving the Chimaera/Tuscans for all of the time I had them. Yes ... they were a great experience, really fun at times and attracted a lot of attention. But ... on lo...

Check the Oil level. There is no early warning system on the Roadster S, and they do use oil though the amount varies from car to car. As previously stated ... also check the Wheels, specifically where the valve stem comes through. I had all 4 wheels changed under warranty due to slight corrosion as...

It was indeed. They deduced that the American market would want a cruiser instead of a bruiser, and went for a 4.8 (which interestingly is pretty much identical to BMW's current X5 and 550 models engine) auto as opposed to the M5's 5.0. The 4.8 in the X5 is actually of Alpina design. BMW bought the...

Some careless Muppet had opened their car door into my nearside door and left a dent about the size of a 10p piece just two weeks after taking delivery of my new E92 335d. I had a Chimaera and two Tuscans prior to buying the Alpina. Whilst they look and sound fantastic they are of dubious build quality (in terms of rattles etc) and prone to being extremely unreliable. I bought my last Tuscan as a brand new car, gorgeous in Nebula Blue with a two-tone blue full leather...

Dear women 1. Alpina's are as previously stated fast, luxurious cars. They are a softer drive than the M cars, so as to provide performance with comfort. With regards to stated BHP ... You will find that Alpina are purposely conservative regarding overall output. For example .. the new B5 is rated a tad below 500...

You should be able to buy a touch up kit from BMW. I bought one in Maldives Blue when I picked up the car (because stone chips are inevitable) for a cost of circa £6 to £8 I think. It came with paint, laquer and applicating brushes, though I always use a sharpened matchstick to apply as it's much mo...
