have you got comparison pics between the 2 manifolds? I'm interested in the size of the inlet on the head, and the manifold shapes Check out this, shows the difference in port size/shape but the main part of the manifold and the DISA valve are 10mm larger. https://zroadster.org/threads/fitting-a-m5...

Sorry to hear your having trouble, sounds like something isn't conected? You need to get back in there and check all your conections, do you remember reconnecting the round plug to the thottle body? Re: Exhaust Manifold Question (and a few others)

Not sure on that, the M54 DISA's are same and maybe the 3.0 manifold has larger inlet tubes? The manifold gaskets are the same part number so the overall size of the ports are the same so from my observations the 2.5 manifold I used with the D shaped ports were as big as the gasket would allow.

The exhaust system and manifolds are the same on the 2.0 and 2.8 M52tu engines, they changed on the M54 engines when they fitted the cats in the manifolds! they've got some tight bends in them! If your looking for improvements in your 2.0 six then you should look at the inlet side as that's where th...
