Re: A new Z from BMW?
Pebble Beach. Barely three months after the sensational premiere of the BMW Zagato Coupé, BMW and Zagato are turning heads again at the 2012 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance with the fruits of their latest collaboration. Created in just six weeks’ worth of lavish handcraftsmanship, the BMW Zagato Ro...

Tim's Z Colour Gallery
Some of the newer members may not have seen the pages I prepared many years ago showing the various colours the Z3, M Roadster and other 'zee' cars came in. Some of the colours were experimental and never made it through to production, for example, Neon Yellow, Sahara Beige, Apricot, Steel Blue... O...

Re: Change browser tab to reflect topic subject?
Safari seems to be the only browser that handles this in an intelligent way, albeit without the ZR favicon. But from what I can make out of the way Safari displays the titles, reversing the text to have 'zroadster.net - view topic' at the end would screw this up totally. Best overall would be to los...

Re: faded paint
Red suffers much more than other colours from paint oxidation. In the old days the way to prevent this was to wax the car every time it was washed. And eventually remove the top layer of paint with something like t-cut. But the Z3 paint should be protected by clear coat, so this shouldn't happen. Ma...

Re: Underbonnet paint colour?
Having toured the paint shop at the Spartanburg factory several times I can tell you for sure that the underbonnet paint isn't different a different colour, it just lacks clearcoat. Yes, the difference is dramatic, especially with Topaz Blue and the metallic Silvers. My zroadster colour pages: http:...

The normal default for phpBB is date of joining in ascending order which means you list the oldest members first. This seemed illogical, so yes, the default here is newest members first.

My wife has an X-registered Mercedes A Class and one of the tyres is consistently losing air. The tyre place and her servicing centre both say it's down to the alloy wheel becoming pitted over time and not providing the seal.
