I've got the Mamas and Papas Primo Viaggio Infant seat which I use in my Z all the time. It has a separate base that you install and the seat locks onto it. I use the Mamas and Papas Aria pushchair which fits fine into the boot. You MUST have the passenger airbags disabled if you fit a rear-facing c...

I had the same problem a while back, someone on the board suggested having the dealer put in an X5 switch. The guy a the service desk looked at me funny, but because they were running out of ideas (this had been going on for months) they tried it. I have not had a problem since (been about a year). ...

I had lots of problems with mine going off, the dealer would replace the faulty bonnet sensor but a month later would have the same problem. This went on for about 4 months. Eventually someone on this board recommended having them fit the X5 sensor instead. The guy at the service desk looked at me l...

Teflon
Hi Nicola,
I'm the one with the teflon coating on my car, I love it. I don't know if Supaguard is the same thing but I got TST Teflon put on by a TST installer. I just have to wash it and it is always very shiny. If you want the details send me a pm or e-mail.

Cheapest sound system upgrade ever!!
We have just swapped out our BMW business RDS headunit for a Kenwood cd/mp3 which I got used on eBay (was a £450 unit new - paid £90). The difference in the sound is pretty amazing considering I only swapped the head unit. This headunit has 50w per channel and an automatically hiding faceplate, it i...

6-CD Changer mounting bracket
Hi everyone, I had my boot mounted 6 cd changer un-installed by my dealer, but the mounting bracket was not removed. I am selling the changer and wanted to include the mounting bracket and was going to take it out, but it looks like there is some sort of electronic module attached to the top of it. ...

I've never had any trouble keeping up with the manuals on cruises, once you get used to it and know how to use it you are eating up the road along with the rest of them. Personally I manually shift quite often, especially when I am feeling frisky, but it is nice to leave it in auto in traffic. I fin...

Rules are not the problem Steve, it's people who only think of themselves and don't care about anyone else. Those are the kind of people who park in disabled and parent/child parking spaces. Selfish? Absolutely. I am not going to discuss this any further with you, I don't have the time nor the patie...

Ok, I have to put my two cents worth in here. I am one of the very few who have a baby AND still drive my Z. I hate to tell you guys, but there is a valid reason for the parent/child parking spaces being wider. If you have ever tried to get an infant seat out of a car - especially a two door you wil...

Speaking of public transport
Why was it going to cost me 130 quid to take the train to London from Harrogate? The price has doubled since the last time I went (few months ago). Good way to encourage people to get out of their cars and onto public transportation. :head: Decided to take my car to London rather than pay tha...

Definitely agree that the Z3 site should not look like the z4um, and there is nothing at all wrong with either just different. Think you need to look again, can't see where on here it says Z3Roadster.net. Picky picky, you know what I meant. I still think of it as a Z3 site which is what it original...
