Deano,

You've not actually made the silencer any more free flowing than in OEM state. You've cut into the outlet pipes at the wrong end.

Take a look on the z4-forum.com and there's virtually no mention of this problem in the Z4 MC and MR fitted with the same S54 engine but with revised (uprated) conrods, bearing shells and conrod bolts.

Here's a photo of the ACS spacer fitted showing that when the car is loaded onto the suspension the centre of the spacer will lock inside the subframe bush housing preventing any horizontal movement of the subframe.

The welding option is the best option though.

Personally, I think that the correction of toe (zero toe angle best) is more important than camber.

Bite the bullet and get IE's camber and toe brackets fitted.

Got mine from "Black Circles" by carrier and got a local tyre fitter to fit and balance them for me.

For me, they are the best value performance tyre around. Great in the wet and dry.

Yes, 9J is huge for the front. 8.5J is the usual upgrade size and this takes a 235 tyre. You wouldn't want any wider tyre than that.
