Top gear did something similar last week when hammond and may raced the royal mail from the scillies to the orkneys. cant remember how long it took them but the letter won. think they left at 2.30 and arrived at 12 the next day, but they were travelling a bit further.

the plate is a standard switch cover with a hole drilled in it some of the part number will still be visible on the rear when its removed. either reuse the old one, or depending which location the led goes : front console by gear lever part number is 51162492136 or the switch plate below the storage...

never had that problem in the 7 years i had a Z.
Didnt matter what speed I did either.
speeds in excess of 70 were done on track of course. Still roof down.

synthetic oil of the correct grade will be ok in the engine, looks for posts by oilman in the search, he is really genned up on oil grades.

Dont put engine oil in the gearbox you need proper gearbox oil.

I have used a pressure wash under the bonnet before, even use it on the paint but on a weaker setting, wheels and under arches get full blast.

Dealers steam clean the engine bays so it must be ok to do it.

dealer will more than likely charge around 600 or so for inspection 2 maybe less if you can get it done on 4 or 6 plus schemes.

deffinately in the era of Tiff.
He owned the M Roadster he used in the burning rubber video and top gear also did a road test comparison against a TVR Chimaera 5.0 in early 98. Even Clarkson admitted the M was pretty good.
