Thermostat change

Well it has been an eventful few days: Awaited delivery of many new shiny bits from Eurocarparts. To include a new Thermostat. Thread for replacing the grommet http://www.zroadster.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8613 As mentioned, the grommet will only lead to water in the tilt sensor to be honest. But even if its not leaking, if it is buggered then replace it - it cost nowt and takes 5 minutes (30 if you get your fat fingers w...

Door card handle separated from door card ( top )

As title states, my little Z, has suffered this common fault on the drivers side door card, top section where mirror switches are located.

What is the official fix? mine currently crudely held in place with a cable tie.

Yep on the UK M44 1.9 engine there is only one, pre-cat O2 sensor - towards the front, under the cover, just in front the gearbox - driver's side. Made by Bosch - they tend to be fairly trouble-free on these cars - a error code reader would normally indicate if there is a problem. Thanks for the cl...

I have read up few things. And one member mentioned the older 1.9 twin cam which I think I have ( 97 P reg car ) has only 1 lambda sensor, upstream of cat, and only later cars which were more environmentally friendly etc had the two 02 sensors, this correct?
