I can't believe how many convertibles go around with the roof closed.

It's 27C today and I still saw three cars with the roof up. Is it me? Why do these people buy convertibles?

Personally, regardless of the temperature, if the sun's out, the roof's down.

Z3 cover for sale

I've got a cover for my 3 series convertible and I still have my old Z3 one. They are both BMW originals and both do an excellent job. The only problem I found was the Z3 one would start to blow off. The only potential catch that I've heard about is that the discount may be off the maximum fuel price. This means if you live in a cheap fuel area you won't see as much benefit.

If he manages to negotiate 10p off the max price, I think everyone should see some savings.

If you use T-Cut to clean the screen, you MUST use a proper polish afterwards. If you don't your screen will crack within a fortnight.

I used to use T-Cut, then the BMW "toothpaste". Sorts it out for a while.

I found a book in America called "Clinton". It covers 3 Series 89 - 98. The electrical section is excellent. It gives voltage readings on the diagnostic pins for different faults, etc. I live in the word of technical manuals (real job, not eBay) and this is one of the best manuals I've see...
