Car gone to the paint shop today, main problem i am told is "filler pop" top of both wings, from a previous repair not known to me, now starting to craze! With a chip on the bonnet and a couple of scrapes on the lower valance, in to have the front bumper and bonnet re sprayed. Took some pi...

Wouldn't be for me Pete. Valve stem oil seals etc will be hard due to lack of use. These very low mileage cars generally give a lot more bother than cars used everyday. I do worry a bit with mine, it only does 1500 a year but it had done 80k odd when I bought it. :) if it got out of bed in the wint...

trip to the sea side

3 cars at the moment planning on a trip Saturday 10 Jan to the coast from Doncaster, looks like Cleethorpes or Bridlington, keeping away from the motorways. Starting out about 10am in time for chips by the sea. any one interested so we can arrange a meeting place?

Mines with Adrian Flux as a classic along with the other BM, but as with all insurances brokers / companies they try it on every year to increase the premium.

The Z3 was never a new car i dreamed of, but as a second car in its, and my maturing years it certainly hits the spot for me. Nothing better for stress relieve than putting the top down, no matter what the weather and hitting the open road, should be on prescription.

Top down again today just my Z3 and Pooleys Z4, trip to Mainz car care Bolsover. Journey time normally 60 minute 40mile round trip.
In a Z 95 miles / 4 hours including a rather good lunch, Life's hard in Z land (needs a clean now before being tucked up under in its cover) :D :D :D

Went for one i think was called simply car covers it
is triple layered with a cotton lining with the promise of being fully waterproof but breathable cost £40

Gave Pooley his first taste of cruising the Z way, for a Cruise virgin the boy did good, his new Z4 had a good run out but needs a good clean tommorow. Got some funny looks...

Top down run around the peaks Saturday 15th

Short notice but weather permitting will be at the Strines inn Saturday between 11:30 and 12 noon for a run around the peaks taking in Castleton, Glossop and Holmefirth.
Giving the Z3 a run out with new member Pooley and his Z4 if any one would like to tag along. planning on a gentle introduction.

Agree with all above, love my 1.9 better balanced with a great feel when chucking it about, Keep away from motorways at all costs in the Z, enjoy the fun factor on A and B roads plus with the top down more than quick enough.

Had 3 hours to kill Saturday, dropped wife off in the centre of Sheffield so what to do? Top down, off i went first making my way to Hathersage, Castleton then the obligatory Winnats pass to Glossop made my way over to Woodhead then up a road marked "light vehicles only" towards Holmefirth...
