Is the car infrequently driven, or, driven on relatively short trips with lots of starting? Perhaps the battery isn't getting fully charged up often enough.

Go for Falken 451s. They're not a fashionable make but they are outstanding on both wet and dry and they're cheap, so you can afford to drive on new rubber more often. The KW Variant 2 kit comes with Koni rear shocks which have adjustment for rebound. Whatever the specification, they don't work on the MC because the inherent bump/compression setting (fixed at manufacture) is far too soft to match the springs supplied by KW.

Measured the height to the wheel arch last night, it sits 645mm on the front and 655 on the rear. So if the MR is the same as the MC I’ve dropped 20 and 15 mm respectively.
