M44 lightweight flywheel

Hi

has anybody got a lightweight flywheel on their M44 ?
and if so where did you get it from ?

I can only seem to find them from the US and they're quiet expensive.

I dont mind spending the money as long as its a quality item

New Mini Diesel - fuel consumption

Got a new Mini clubman cooper diesel last month. Fuel consuption figures are nowhere near the claims !!

book states between 60-80mpg.

i havent got anywhere close to that, best so far 56mpg, worst 48mpg.

its a great car though, especially weird as its the estate.

not sure about those coilovers on ebay. Plenty of decent road set-ups about if you look around. setting ride height is a matter of measuring before and after. then jacking then car up and re-adjusting the platforms. this will set ride height, but not corner weights. you need scales for this, or take...

I think you will either need to run short springs on the front coilovers (8") or less, with roller top mounts (these are flatter). The coils/spring platforms may clash with the wheel rim/tyre. I'm running 8" springs with 8" rims and i still needed a 3mm spacer just to be on the safe s...
