Re: another knocking rear end - help needed
yea, checked both straps and bolt. i managed to drop the tank enough to get some foam wedged on top of the tank and when the straps were re-tightened, the rattle almost went. it still makes a slight noise over the largest of bumps. thing is, although a lot better, it has unearthed more noises that i...

Re: another knocking rear end - help needed
thanks guys but i think i have found it. i was putting the drop links in and just happen to hit the side of the tank with the torque wrench and it made the noise. now, i have already checked the strap and it's fine and when the tank is tapped from underneath, nothing, but when it is tapped from the ...

Wanted - 1.9 M44 original BMW cat in good condition.
i had to fit an aftermarket cat to get my car through the MOT as my old one had disintegrated and although it does the job, it is much smaller than the original. this has the effect of making the exhaust sound very raspy so i want to fit an original back onto it to make it sound 'nice' again. does a...

hi all, i have a 1.9 pre-face with a wide arch rear conversion. when i bought the car 2 years ago it had really bad metallic knocking noise from the rear shelf. i knew this was the top mounts so i replaced all 4 shocks, top mounts and springs with new (Meyle HD mounts) this seemed help but there was...

free plug for these lenses.
i bought a set from Southernboy and it took 45 mins to fit, they look OEM and IMHO suit the car better than the orange ones.
the quality of these lenses is as per OEM too so a real easy swap.
