Re: Engine rattle oil pump?
To the best of my knowledge Bmw has not approved any triple qx oils. Meets the spec is not the same as manufacture approval. The only oils by triple qx with manufacturer approval as far as I know are 2 for vag and one for Mercedes. Getting manufacturer approval ain't cheap and if you look at the pri...

Straight forward as Gookah has displayed to leave it original or just take the whole lot out and blank the hole. Its redundant to daily running. Iirc I plugged a vacuum line and tied the wires up out of the way. Much tidier looking engine bay after.

All the wheels will move 6mm outward but when you take the increased width of the wheel into consideration the rears which are approximately 50mm wider or 25mm each way.your wheel inside clearance will decease by 19mm.on the fronts the inside clearance will decrease by roughly 6mm. I run staggered 68's on mine with 225/45 /17 on the front and 255/40/17 on the rear. You need to keep the rolling circumferences front to back and left to right similar to avoid unbalancing the abs and asc. I would not advise more than 3% front to rear and even less left to right. Also keep in mind ...

The rolling circumference of a 235/35/19 is 1951.61 mm the closest match is the 285/30/19 which has 1971.21mm. The same profiles don't mean the same rolling circumference. I would go with the Goodyear 285/30/19 xl.

The amp is there because the standard Bmw head unit is low wattage. When you fit an aftermarket unit usually 45watts plus the footwell amp becomes redundant.

Had it out for a run this afternoon. Handling is much improved.
