Thanks for that guys. I did clean the tank out by filling it & siphoning it out a few times, it was more stale than gunky. I will see about getting a filter/strainer for the filler hole then, as that is what I would think it must be. Do BMW sell them? I don't want to replace the whole bottle tho...

Hi everyone,
I have a question about Z3 door cards. Are there any differences between door cards fitted to early models & those fitted to Facelift models (apart from the age of them!)?
Just wondering if anything was altered along with other stuff that was changed in the interiors..?

Hi Matt, You will see two small round plastic "blanks" near the turrets, either side of the stowage box on your car. You need to use a very small flat screwdriver or similar to lever these out. Once out, have a look down into the holes to see if you already have the fitting brackets fitted...
